The University of Clermont was established on 1st January 2017 as a result of merger between University of Auvergne & Blaise Pascal University. The merge is to optimally utilize the 2013 Act on higher education and research. This decision led to the establishment of a university that not only belongs to the national and international networks of knowledge dissemination, but also becomes a part of the local environment of Auvergne.

University of Clermont Auvergne Scholarships

The Following is the List of Scholarships available at University of Clermont Auvergne:

SFRI-Isite Scholarship: The SFRI-Isite scholarship is for Master 2 students of the School of Economics. The scholarship is offered for a period of 10 months at a rate of €600 every month and selection is done by a committee of economics professors.

Students pursuing first year of their master’s degree after completing first semester are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Excellence Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to brighter students who cannot afford higher education costs. Scholarship is available to International students only, candidates with dual nationality where one of them is the French nationality are not eligible for this scholarships. The following documents have to be submitted in support of application

Long-Standing Practice of Internships.

UCA believes that internships are useful in industrial sectors as part of the learning processes of the students which is stated in the French Education Code. This particular placement allows the students to encounter real life problems and solve them using the academic knowledge they have gained in class in a professional environment.

Internships can be provided and the period should not exceed six months within one academic year. An internship agreement has to be signed with the help of the UCA tutor to enable student to understand the skills expected by the employer along with the professional conduct.
