Sonny & Gita Mehta Indian Scholarship – university offers scholarship for students from Indian origin, talented writers wish to pursue postgraduate courses in the streams of Drama, Literature and Creative writing at the university. £28,500 is offered to eligible students that covers tuition fee and other expenses for September 2025 intake. Eligible Indian students should have excellent writing skills and must have financial weakness. Students interested must submit the application form with all prescribed requisites before April 1 st 2025.

30% Final Year Undergraduate Continuation Scholarship – university is offering a flat 30% fee reduction for specified international students, who are aspiring to enroll for specified postgraduate courses at the university for September 2025 or January 2026 intake. This scholarship is unlimited and applies to students who have studied undergraduate at the university, they must also be self-funded in order to apply for this fee reduction scholarship.
International UG Merit Scholarship – this scholarship is automatically awarded to international fee paying students applying for undergraduate programs in September 2025 intake, £4000 per year is awarded to eligible students, excluding placement year and study abroad years. The amount will be deducted from the tuition fee of the eligible students. Students paying international tuition fee automatically gets eligible for this scholarship.
International Early Payments Awards – university offers a discount in tuition fee for students from all regions applying for taught master’s specified programs in January or February 2025. A reduction of £500 is awarded to students who deposit £4000 by 18 November 2024 and £1000 discount for students who deposit full tuition fee, after deducting scholarships amounts by 9 th December 2024.

Entry Requirements at University of East Anglia
For Undergraduate Courses
- 12 th standard from recognized Indian boards with at least 70-80%.
- For English Language Proficiency, applicants must have the following scores
- IELTS – maximum 6.5 and 5.5 in components
- TOEFL iBT – 79-88 maximum with sub scores as per the courses requirements
- PTE Academic – overall 59-64 with section scores as per the courses requirements
- Duolingo and Cambridge English tests scores are eligible subject to satisfy the required scores.
For Postgraduate Courses
- A bachelor’s degree with 55-60%. Few courses need higher percentage
- For English Language Proficiency, applicants must have the following scores
- IELTS – maximum 7.0 and 6.0 in components
- TOEFL iBT – 88-100 overall with sub scores as per the courses requirements
- PTE Academic – minimum 64-79 with section scores as per the courses requirements
- Applicants must have a portfolio for courses pertaining to arts, creative writing and architecture. Few courses have interview either in person or online.
