JLU Postgraduate Scholarship for Doctoral Candidates: JLU offers financial assistance to registered doctoral candidates for research based activities in the concerned field, for eligibility, candidates must have required qualifications for doctoral research, a research proposal detailing the contribution for advancement of knowledge, acceptable academic record and no prior work must be done earlier on the research project. The application must be submitted to supervising professor with documents such as transcripts, research proposal and letter of support. It offers €1200 per month for living expenses and €150 for other expenses, maximum availability of funds is three years, subject to renewal according to satisfactory progress

Hessen Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students who participate in international research projects, fostering global collaborations. Eligibility criteria involves, students engaging in exchange programs or global research projects, must have exceptional academic achievements with a statement of purpose. Application are accepted by international office or concerned faculty, the funding differs as per program, typically offering up to €500 per month

ERASMUS+ Grants: JLU offers financial grants to students who are participating in exchange programs within the limits of Europe, in order to be eligible, students must get an approval for ERASMUS+ program, the course selection must be approved by the host university, applications are facilitated at international office, the grant is maximum €450 per month, entirely based on host country

PROMOS Scholarship (DAAD Funding for International Mobility): The scholarship provides financial assistance to students participating in international study or internship program. The eligibility criteria is, participation in short-term study, research or internship at abroad, good academic record with statement of purpose. Applications are accepted at international office with supporting documents such as transcripts, study plan and budget proposal. It offers €500 for living expenses, including partial covering of travel expenses

Deutschlandstipendium (German Scholarship)

• This German scholarship is open to all students, including overseas students enrolled at the university, to be eligible, students must have outstanding academic achievements and commitment towards social activities. Although financial need is not a mandatory criteria, but students who actively participate in community projects are preferred.
• It offers €300 per month to the recipients, jointly funded by federal government and private donors, the renewal of scholarship is based on continuous eligibility. Supportive documents for Application are, Academic record, proof of enrollment, personal statement and evidence of extracurricular activities

DAAD Scholarships (German Academic Exchange Service) : This scholarship is available to all international students at Germany, for eligibility, overseas students must possess academic brilliance and registered enrollment at JLU, additionally they must also demonstrate language proficiency in German or English languages. The scholarship offers monthly stipends with maximum grant of €1200 including travel and research expenses, Applications must be submitted to DAAD specified portal, the deadlines differs as per scholarships
