Scholarships Offered by University of Leicester

International Merit Scholarship: The students who have achieved outstanding academic results will be awarded an International Merit Scholarship, normally a £3,000 or higher level award of £5,000 per year. This scholarship is to acknowledge academic excellence.

Entry Requirements for University of Leicester

General Education, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Majors, Minors and Specializations are all part of the Undergraduate (Bachelors) Degrees. Standard XII (CBSE/ISC/State Boards) However, those candidates who have passed with a minimum 75% in the aggregate will only be considered for admission. For competitive courses of relevant fields, its marks in specific subjects should be 80% plus and 85% plus.

A-Levels or IB: Those successfully passing A-Levels or International Baccalaureate examinations that meet course requirements may be admitted directly to the first year of a degree program.

Advanced Entry: Entry is open to students who have completed the first year of an appropriate undergraduate degree in India and wish to apply for entry to either the first or second year of a Leicester degree. In addition the university has progression arrangements with partner institutions in India for seamless advanced entry.

Masters Degrees Postgraduate.

  1. Indian Bachelor’s Degree: The requirement for entry to Master’s programs are at least a First Class classification, equivalent to 60% or Grade B from a recognized Indian university.
