Academic Requirements
- Standard Courses: They also have to pass specified grade requirements according to the UCAS tariff.
GCSE Requirements: Usually, you need grade C (or 4 or above) in required subjects. For some courses, you’ll need higher grades. Although Foundation year programs may accept D (or 3) grades in certain subjects, they are the weakest of all post 16 qualifications that universities will consider.
International Qualifications
Foundation Entry:
- OR an equivalent qualification from an All India or State Board pass with an average of 50% after completion of Year 10.
- Have completed Year 12 with an average of 45%.
- Standard International Year One:
- Completion of Standard 12 with:
- For All India Boards, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu & West Bengal 50% is applicable.
- 55% for other state boards.
Integrated International Year One
- Completion of Standard 12 with: All India Boards, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, the marks were 55%.
- 60% for other boards.
Entry requirements at postgraduate level
- Entry into the pre-master programs requires completion of a three- or four-year bachelor’s degree with a pass.
English Language Requirements
- International students have to prove their English proficiency so that they can study at MMU.
- Accepted tests and minimum scores include:
- IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.0 (with no component lower than 5.5) may be required (higher band scores may be required for some programs).
- TOEFL iBT: A minimum overall score of 79 including minimum score of 17 in writing and speaking, 18 in reading and 20 in listening.
- PTE Academic: Score minimum of 58, no score less than 51.
