London Metropolitan University (London Met) was constituted by the merger in 2002 of two individual institutions with a tradition going back to the mid-19th century. Located in the vibrant city of London, the institute offers students the opportunity to live in a student residence in Aldgate, Shoreditch and Holloway as part of a thriving international student community in one of the hottest metropolises of the world. Sports and Fitness: Among its facilities, you will find state of the art gyms, a dance studio and a full-sized basketball court as well as a fitness center. Regular programs include yoga, personal training, and mindful classes. Instead, they can play a number of sports including cricket, basketball, cheerleading, futsal or more to form new friendships as well as ensuring a healthy lifestyle.

Outdoor and Green Spaces: Students can sit on deck chairs in the Islington campus courtyard and play table tennis. Among Hollins green ideas are two rooftop gardens, a big pond that lulls ducklings, some springs and 40,000 bees that do part to keep the place green. The students can come along to the gardening club, to unwind and help the campus stay green.

Learning and Internship: One can replace one academic module with an internship module and get practical hands-on experience in the industry of choice and academic credit.
Structure: The module consists of approximately 70 hours of work over six weeks, as well as preparatory workshops, self-reflection tasks and blended learning (Virtual Learning Environment or VLE) with the University.
Cost: The fee for the internship module is £700.
Career Development Support: The University has the careers and employability team to assist in career planning, writing CV and interviewing. Students are given help, on a one-to-one basis, to diagnose their strengths, find appropriate openings and draft their applications precisely. In addition to career services, alumni can use these services for the first three years post-graduation.
Industry Connections: London Met has strong links with leading organizations, who offer placements on such courses as Charities and Volunteering Hospitality, leisure and tourism and Government and Public Sector. Employers choose students on the basis of who would have the most relevant or worthwhile experiences.
Placement Process: The Work Based Learning team can source placement, coordinate with the employer and can also guarantee the employer eligibility is in place. The application materials include a CV and a cover letter detailing skills, and specified goals for the position, amongst other things.
Career-Focused Curriculum: Regarding skills integration into every undergraduate course, this is known as work related learning. These include live client projects, external placement, and on campus work experience. Real world applications are discussed and developed, making graduates career ready when they finish their studies.

English Language Requirements
Accepted Tests: They must submit a score from Academic IELTS, Pearson PTE Academic, one of the other Secured English Language Tests (SELTs).
Minimum Scores:
IELTS: Generally 0 overall, never any band lower than 5.5. Can vary depending on the program, though.
Mathematics Requirement: A prerequisite may be 70% or above in Mathematics in Class X High School Certificate with stipulation that candidate should have passed other subjects also in Class X. The UK ENIC Statement of Comparability is encouraged for use by Indian students to find out if their qualifications will be accepted.
