Entry Requirements at Cardiff Metropolitan University
For Undergraduate Courses
- Applicants must pass the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or similar qualifications with at least 60-70%, depends on the course applied.
- For English Language Proficiency, aspirants must have relevant scores. For IELTS – minimum 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in all components or least minimum score of 72 in OEFL iBT or in PTE minimum score of 56.
- Some courses at the university may accept the acceptable percentage in English subject in the 12 th standard exam.
For Postgraduate Courses
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 55-60% or similar to UK 2:2 from a recognized Indian university.
- For English Language Proficiency, almost similar scores as required in undergraduate programs with slightly higher scores. IELTS – minimum 6.5, no less than 6.0 in all components or 79 in TOEFL iBT or 61 minimum score in PTE.
- Some courses demands work experience which has to duly acknowledged by the organization.
- Acceptance rate of the university stands at competitive level of 64%.
