Toulouse’s flagship electronics program is ESECA (MSc Electronics Systems for Embedded and Communicating Applications), a 2-year, full-time program jointly run by Toulouse INP-ENSEEIHT and INSA Toulouse. For the current intake, it charges EUR 9,080 a year (approx INR 9.90 lakh) standard, or EUR 5,393 a year (approx INR 5.88 lakh) on a reduced rate for academic partners, EU students, students from some developing countries and merit-based selectees (ESECA program page).

Don’t confuse this with INSA Toulouse’s generic differentiated-fee master’s and engineering-cycle route, which still runs around EUR 3,950 a year for its other, non-ESECA tracks. The two are separate programs with separate price tags. ESECA also folds in a paid five-to-six-month final-year internship, and Grenoble INP Phelma’s Integrated Electronic Systems master’s remains the CTI-accredited, 180-ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) engineering-diploma alternative for microelectronics.

The near-free route: Universite de Limoges

Limoges is the exception, not the rule. For 2025-26 and 2026-27 it lets non-EU students pay the EU national fee through an exoneration partielle (partial exemption) of the droits differencies (differentiated fees), capped at 10% of enrolment (Universite de Limoges exemption notice). That EU/national master’s rate is EUR 255 a year (approx INR 27,818), the same figure INSA Toulouse publishes for its own EU-rate students; a microelectronique (microelectronics) applicant at Limoges who wins one of those capped seats pays this rate, and misses the cap pays the full EUR 3,950 differentiated rate like everyone else.

The private and elite route: Junia ISEN Lille and Ecole Polytechnique

Fees jump here. As of the 2025-26 rate, Junia’s private ISEN Lille charged EUR 9,000 plus a EUR 500 student-life fee (Junia tuition and fees); the 2026-27 figure is not yet posted.
