- Swift Current Campus: This hub is also a home base with full-time programs in Business, Early Childhood Education and Hospitality Management. It is a venue for events and administrative offices.
- Warman Campus: Warman offers diploma programs as well as programs in English language training. The small campus fosters community and healthy relationships. Where you can also access the programs of Hospitality and of Child and Youth Care.
- Kindersley Campus: Located in a growing city, it offers Continuing Care Assistant and Electrician. It enrolls students in trades and health care.
- Bigger and Maple Creek Locations: The satellite learning centres in these communities offer adult basic education, English language courses and limited professional development. They are flexible for rural students.
- Martensville Programming Site: Martensville also has part-time and short-term programs. It is also used as a learning centre for students taking independent studies in the central Saskatchewan area.

Scholarships Offered by Great Plains College
Entrance Scholarship
- Award Amount: Up to CAD 5,000
- Eligibility: Available to incoming, full-time, first-year students who have demonstrated high academic achievement in high school. A scholarship application form as well must be completed by all applicants and submitted to the application office.

- Award Amount: Up to CAD 2,000
- Who Can Apply: Full time international students enrolled in a diploma or certificate at the undergraduate level. The scholarship is awarded for prior academic performance and prospective leadership in the profession.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) Scholarship
- Award Amount: CAD 1,000
- Applicant must be: This is a scholarship specifically for ABE students seeking to pursue post-secondary education. Requires faculty recommendation.
Continuing Student Scholarship
- Award Amount: Up to CAD 3,000
- Eligibility: Continuance students – have one year’s study completed at Great Plains College with a G.P.A. of 70 or better. Must reapply annually with transcripts.
Trades and Technology Scholarship
- Award Amount: CAD 1,500
- Recipient(s): Awarded to a student enrolled in a trade program, e.g., Electrician, Welding. Preference is given to first generation college students and underrepresented in the skilled trades.
Internship and Placement at Great Plains College

- High Acceptance at Warman Campus: The Warman Campus of Great Plains College is reporting a 96 per cent acceptance rate, according to Pocket Study Abroad. This high percentage also reflects the campus’s commitment to access and inclusivity as it opens the doors of education to students from diverse backgrounds.
- Institution-Wide Rate: The posted acceptance rate is not published for all schools of Great Plains. The answer is, it really depends on and some of the answers even differ according to program, level of competition and where the campus is located.
- Open Access and Community-Focused Model: Great Plains College is a regional college for west-central Saskatchewan and offers most of its certificate and diploma programs on a direct access basis. This is the type of model we have been creating so there is equity in education for international and domestic students.
- International Student Admission Standards: Admission from most programs is liberal, but international students are required to meet individual program academic as well as English proficiency requirements. Admission to the program is not a guarantee as it is highly competitive, but except for Swift Current and Warman, you are almost guaranteed acceptance if you are an eligible candidate.
- Application Fees and Study Permits: Applicants from outside Canada must apply between CAD 75-140 to be able to apply for the university. Once accepted, students will receive an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) which they can use to apply for their Canadian study permit.
