Twente Pathway College Foundation Year Merit Scholarship: International students applying for foundation year at the college stands a chance for this scholarship. It offers €3,000 to cover tuition fee for the recipients. Extension of scholarship depends on continued academic excellence after enrollment.

Navitas Academic Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrates outstanding academic performance during the course. Eligibility criteria involves, students who achieved top grades in the foundation course, successfully completed the course and subsequently transited into University of Twente undergraduate programs. One-off payment of €2,000 to the recipients.

Navitas Family Bursary: Students whose family members (spouse, parents, child or siblings) had previously studied or currently pursuing studies at the university receive this scholarship. For eligibility – it is applicable to next of kin or subsequent family members, additionally the applicants must not receive any other scholarship or had received one earlier. Only awarded to full-time enrollees and not applicable to English taught programs. Applicants must show documented evidence of family relationship to get 10% tuition fee waiver for each semester of the program.

University of Twente Scholarship (UTS): This scholarship is awarded to Non-EU/EEA students aspiring for postgraduate programs at the University of Twente via Twente Pathway College. Previous academic performance and separate application submission after receiving conditional offer from the university is mandatory. The assessment for awarding scholarship is entirely based on academic grades, motivation letter and future potential. It offers an amount between €3,000 – €22,000 according to academic excellence and course. Continued excellence extends the scholarship to next academic year.

University of Twente Kipaji Scholarship: International students from underdeveloped countries are eligible for this scholarship. Applicants applying for University of Twente (UT) through Twente Pathway College (TPC) must also apply and be eligible for University of Twente Scholarship (UTS). Eligible students are selected based on academic probation and financial hardships, with assurance of returning back to respective country after completion of studies. It is applicable to students from selected countries only. It offers €12,000 to deserving students to cover tuition fee and living expenses.

Foundation Programs Entry Requirements

For General Engineering & Technology Pathway: Applicants must have subject specialty of mathematics with at least 80% in last year of high school. Physics is also necessary, at least 70% aggregate percentage is compulsory. However, mathematics can be replaced by geometry, algebra and calculus. This pathway leads to top engineering degrees

For Business Management & Social Sciences Pathway: Applicants must possess subject specialization in mathematics or equivalent subject like statistics. Minimum aggregate percentage requirement is 80%. Additionally, applicants must have strong communication skills and numeracy, necessary for program like International Business Management. For Chemistry & Advanced Technology Pathway: Subject specialization in mathematics, physics and chemistry in final year of high school education are mandatory. Minimum 80% is necessary in all these subjects. Overall aggregate percentage requirement is 70%. Additionally applicants must possess strong scientific academic background. Foundation course is curated for chemical engineering and advanced technology programs.

English Language Proficiency  Requirements

For Foundation Year

  1. Applicants must demonstrate strong English language proficiency, the following scores satisfy the proficiency requirement.
  2. TOEFL iBT – overall score of 80 with no section below 20.
  3. IELTS Academic – 6.0 minimum overall score with no band less than 5.5.
  4. Cambridge English – Advanced CAE with at least a score of 169.
  5. General Training, IELTS Online and Indicator are not accepted. The certificate must not be older than 02 years.

For Master’s Qualifying Program (MQP)

  1. TOEFL iBT – overall score of 90 with no section below 21.
  2. IELTS Academic – 6.5 minimum overall score with no band less than 6.0.
  3. Cambridge English – C1 Advanced with at least a score of 176.

Certificate must submitted alongside application to streamline the admission process. International Baccalaureate diploma holders with high grades are eligible for English  language proficiency test exemption.
