Erasmus+ Internship Funding

Funding Amount:

This will depend on the country you reside as a host between €690 to €750 per month.
There are also allowances of travel under certain conditions.

Eligibility:

RWTH students and RWTH graduates (internships for graduates no older than 12 months after graduation).
The internships must be between 60 and 360 days and must be done in one of the Erasmus+ Participating countries.
Must have enough language skills (Minimum B1 in the working language).

Benefits:

Covers All mandatory and voluntary internships: Research internships and thesis projects.
It offers intercultural experience, and employment in available.

Application Process:

CV, Learning Agreement for Traineeships, motivation letter and any documents in support of your language proficiency must be sent to apply.
Internship applications should be made at least six weeks before the start of an internship.

UROP Internship

Funding Amount:

€2,000 scholarship for up to 30 students annually.
Covers part of living expenses for a 12-week research internship.
Eligibility: The program features ethnolinguistic fieldwork with classes in German language, though no prior German language is required.

IDEA League Grants for Research Stays

Funding Amount: The scope of this award is a funded limited research stay at the partner universities of the IDEA League.

Entry Requirements at RWTH Aachen University

German proficiency equivalent to TestDaF Level 4 or DSH-2 for most programs.
If you are asked to submit proof of English proficiency, you should take the TOEFL (min 90) or IELTS scores (min 6.5) in English-taught programs.

Master’s Programs
