UH is conveniently located in Hatfield, which is just 25 minutes by train. The university is spread across two major campuses, College Lane giving the college miles of modern facilities including a state of the art library, sports village, student accommodation and numerous restaurants. Entry Requirements at University of Hertfordshire
Although there are many entry points into the University of Hertfordshire, different academic and English language requirements are stipulated to each point of entry.
Academic: Standard XII Certificate for minimum of 50% (pass).
Language: A score of 4.5 IELTS, and not below 4.0 in any band.
Year 1 Undergraduate Entry Requirements
- Standard XII Certificate of overall 60-70% with specific course requirements at the University of Hertfordshire..
IELTS score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band. - For English language proficiency, Standard XII English with 65% or above is also accepted.
Early Entry Requirements (Year 2 or 3)
- Principally qualification based on the course and 2-3 year diploma after XII for consideration.
- Most courses require an IELTS score of 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any band).
Entry requirements for Pre-Masters
- Academic: Standard XII Certificate for minimum of 50% (pass).
- Language: A score of 4.5 IELTS, and not below 4.0 in any band.
Master’s requirements
Academic: Degree Completion: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject at a score of 55 to 65% depending on the course requirements.
- An IELTS score of 6.0 or 6.5 (according to the course) with no less than 5.5.
- Standard XII English, scoring a minimum 70% of marks, will be accepted.
