Keele University was founded in 1949 and has a large and pretty campus, covering some 600 acres of rural countryside. Interdisciplinary teaching and research leading to some of the great challenges confronting the world today. Keele is a modern university with about 10,000 students of whom a large proportion are international students. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programme’s in areas from health sciences, social sciences and natural sciences to humanities.

Undergraduate Global Scholarship: The £5,000 per year is available to international fee paying undergraduate students with strong academic achievement. Advanced Entry Scholarship (UG): This scholarship of £3,000 is available to international students intending to begin study at Keele at an advanced stage (for example direct entry to the second year). It is automatically assigned to those students who make the academic achievement standards and reward students who excel in past studies.
International Baccalaureate Global Scholarship: Students with an International Baccalaureate qualify have £1,000 scholarship for academic performance. This means that this scholarship is automatic and so therefore acts as a positive incentive for students that have this qualification to study at Keele for their higher education.
Keele Alumni Discount: Keele alumni receive a 20% (or 10% for online courses) discount on tuition fees. This is an automatic discount that is meant to promote lifelong continuous learning with the university rather than encouraging continued identity with the university by making post graduate attainments more affordable in money value terms to the alumnus.

Entry Requirements at Keele University
Keele University Offers a varied international community of students and has admission criteria designed to allow all students to meet the academic and language proficiency needs of the programs that they want.
General Academic Requirements: Undergraduate Programs: Applicants may have had secondary education equivalent to the UK A levels or International Baccalaureate (IB).
Postgraduate Programs: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is required of candidates. Some programs may even require work experience and/or a degree in a related area to get admission to them.
English Language Requirements: Proof of English language proficiency is required of non-native English speakers.
IELTS: An overall minimum score of 6.0, no less than 5.5 in each component for all undergrad and postgrad courses.
Other Accepted Tests: The Pearson Test of English (PTE), TOFL and Cambridge English may be accepted as alternative tests by Keele. Specific course requirements should be referred to the university’s website by students.
Pre-Sessional English Language Courses: Keele provides pre sessional English courses for students who do not satisfy the minimum English language entry requirement. The benefit these programs offer is having students improve their language skills before beginning their degree programs.
