1) English Proficiency
Most US universities require proof of English proficiency in the form of IELTS / TOEFL / PTE. Some universities have some admission policy of IELTS waiver if you meet their IELTS waiver requirements.
Typical minimum scores:
- IELTS: 6.0 – 6.5 overall (preferably no band below 5.5)
- PTE: 58 – 62 overall (no band below 51 is preferably)

Application Procedure:
Step 1: Applications must be submitted to the University with all the necessary documents. No predicted GRE or IELTS Scores are acceptable. The application process will be different from University to University.
Step 2: The application decision will come within 4 to 6 weeks after you submit the application. If admitted University will send the offer letter, otherwise they will send the letter of refusal.
Step 3: After receiving the admission students must pay an initial deposit (if required) as mentioned in the offer letter. If an initial deposit is not required students need to make I 20 requests.
Step 4: Students need to share financial documents of their one-year tuition fee as well as one Year Living expenses along with financial support letter with the University to make I 20 requests.
Step 5: Once all the required documents are received by the University they will process I 20 and issue the same within 2-3 weeks.
Step 6: After a student gets I 20 student needs to submit DS 160 form, and you need to make an appointment at the nearest US Consulate to get their visa stamped. Student needs to pay the SEVIS fee before making their visa application at US Consulate.
