Eligibility requirements for the scholarships vary depending on the provider, but most require excellent academic performance and financial need. Other factors that may be considered include leadership potential or extracurricular activities. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, so your grades will be a significant factor in determining whether or not you receive a scholarship. In addition, you may be required to submit an essay or personal statement as part of your application.
- Most scholarships require applicants to be citizens of India, however, some may also allow US permanent residents from Indian communities or at least one parent being Indian to apply if they are planning on attending school in the USA.

- Each scholarship may have additional requirements such as maintaining a certain GPA or achieving specified scores on standardized tests such as the GMAT or GRE. Many universities require that applicants maintain at least a certain GPA in order to remain eligible for the award of their scholarship after each semester.
