Shannon College of Hotel Management is the first hotel management college of Ireland. The idea was first conceived and founded by Brendon O’Regan, an Irish business tycoon in 1951. The college is based in County Clare, Shannon Airport. In 2015, the college was fully encompassed into the University of Galway.
