Funded Internships: With limited grant funding for living costs, there are optional placement years, including summer placements. In addition to the funding you are funded through the Turing Scheme, you will receive additional funding for international internships, which is between £335–£545 per month depending on where you go.

British Council Internships:

  1. Placements as English Language Assistants paid worldwide, six months or a year.
  2. Supplies classroom experience, language skills and cultural awareness.

Entry requirements at University of Lincoln

International Year One:

  1. Achievement of the high school with good grades (it does depend on the origin of the country).
  2. The applicants need to be 17 years or above.
  3. The applicants must have GCSE Grade 4 or C in Mathematics (or equivalent) or above.
  4. The International students come with an only for this program, an international student must have an IELTS of 5.5 (IELTS less than 5.5) in English language proficiency.

Pre-Master’s Program:

  1. Equivalents (country specific conditions apply) or an undergraduate degree.
  2. Additional Requirement for MSc Accounting and Finance:
  3. However, they will need GCSE Grade 4 or above in Mathematics (C or above).
  4. Program is available for international students only. You have to be at least 18 years old.
  5. Minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is acceptable but no band lower than 5.5.

English Language Requirements: Students must meet the minimum IELTS scores to gain direct entry or undertake preparatory courses:

For International Year One:

  1. Direct entry is with IELTS 5.5 or higher.
  2. A pre-sessional English course is required to complete an IELTS 4.5–5.0.

For Pre-Master’s:

  1. Direct entry requires IELTS 6.0 or higher.
  2. Pre pre-sessional English course is required for all students to achieve IELTS 5.0 — 5.5.
  3. This paper examines the different options for the expression of conditional conscience, including that of a scholar in the context of both normative as well as actual cases.
  4. These are Pre-sessional English and Academic Study Skills (PEASS) Courses.
  5. For students who do not meet the English proficiency requirements, the University offers PEASS courses. These courses are also good for students that would wish to experience the UK academic environment.

Course Durations:

  1. Lower IELTS scores can be taught in 10 weeks.
  2. Courses for moderate proficiency; 5 weeks.
