Campus Facilities at Norwich University

Scholarships Offered by Norwich University

Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) – A range of scholarships and bursaries are available to students on financial difficulties whilst studying at NUA.

The Chancellor’s Scholarship

  1. Eligibility: For those of Black or Mixed Black heritage domiciled in the UK who have an offer to study an undergraduate degree at NUA.
  2. Award Amount: Costs £9,250 per year for three years (totaling £27,750).
  3. Applicants must complete a Declaration Form and supply a 300-word statement outlining the reasons for studying at NUA and how the scholarship will contribute to their studies.

Brogden and daubery Scholarships

  1. Eligibility: If you are a MA Fine Art and MA Textile Design full time or part time, this scholarship is for you.
  2. Award Amount: Total of £2,500 to students on undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

BAFTA Scholarships

  1. Eligibility: Who are the applicants: BA Game Art and Design program.
  2. Award Amount: It will be up to £12,000 annually, with a cap of £20,000 over two years.
  3. Comes with access to a BAFTA mentor and free attendance at BAFTA events.

International Scholarships

  1. Available to national and international students already enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program.
  2. Award value is also varied and is generally £2,000 – £10,000 based on course and student profile.

Bursaries

  1. Lovely Bursary awarded by Norwich University of the Arts (NUA).
  2. Eligibility: Students from the UK who have a household income of under £25,000 (as assessed by funding bodies).

Entry Requirements at Norwich University

Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) is delighted to welcome students from all over the world who have completed secondary and further education in a diversity of ways.

Eligible to enroll in an undergraduate program

Typical Qualifications for International Students:

UCAS Tariff Points:

  1. Architecture: It awards 64 points (Year 0) or 120 points (Year 1).
  2. All Other Courses: (Year 0) 64 points, (Year 1) 104 points

A Levels:

  1. Year 0: CC or above.
  2. Year 1: BBB – BCC or above.

IB Diploma:

  1. Year 0: The minimum mark is 24 points or 64 UCAS points.
  2. Year 1: Taught BSc Biology candidates need at least 26 points or 104 UCAS points.

IB Career Pathway:

  1. Year 0: Two DP courses, and careers related study.
  2. Year 1: 2 DP courses which included careers related study and received a score of 4 or above.

Foundation Diploma:

  1. Year 0: Diploma Completed.
  2. Year 1: A score greater than or equal to 60%.
  3. Advanced Entry to Year 2: Entry to Year 2 requires a direct entry where students have studied to university level or RQF Level 4 Diploma (advanced or higher diploma, associate degree) normally by demonstrating good academic qualifications and a portfolio of creative work.

English Language Requirements

  1. IELTS Academic: Band score of at least 5.5 in all four components and a minimum overall score of 6.0.
  2. TOEFL iBT: Scores may be considered equivalent.
  3. UKVI English Language Waiver: In countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand nationals may not be required to prove English proficiency. The waiver may also apply to students who basically satisfied English requirements to be given another UK visa.
