Brighton College is a vocational training college established in 2000 and located on British Columbia’s south coast with another campus in South Surrey. The college is a post-secondary career college offering over 30 diploma and certificate programs in the areas of Business, International trade, engineering technology and information technology. The college is accredited by Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) and has a British Columbia Education Quality Assurance (BC EQA) designation, maintaining high academic quality and delivering excellent education to students. Crystal Mall Campus – Burnaby: College #305–4538 Kingsway imparts the education for engineering, international trade and some of the design programs. It is in the Crystal Office Tower building and there are amenities through the mall as well as a direct entrance to the building for students.

Scholarships Offered by Brighton College
International Student Bursary: This scholarship is open to international students who demonstrate financial need. The award amounts range from CAD 500-CAD 1,000, depending on the program. Necessary Requirement and Academic transcripts: Students must submit academic transcripts at the time of applying a statement of need.
Women in Technology Scholarship: Only available to female students who are going into engineering or IT, this scholarship is worth a total of CAD 1,000 for applicants with GPAs of 75% or more. You will have to submit a personal essay and academic records.

Career Advancement Scholarship: Eligibility: For domestic and international students who wish to enroll in the diploma course. Scholastic standing and a statement, in writing, of career goals are the basis for an award of up to $750.
Indigenous Learners Scholarship: This initiative is giving CAD 1,000 to Indigenous students with program enrolments in business and/or technology. They must submit documentation of their ancestry and recommendation letters from two people in the community.
Continuing Education Grant: This 500 CAD prize is for any prior Brighton students who sign up for their 2nd course. Applicants are also required to show proof of previous completion and submit a short career plan.

Entry Requirements at Brighton College
Academic Qualifications: Applicants must also be High School graduates or Mature students with Equivalent qualification such as high school education certificate and over 19 years old at the time of commencement. Program-specific requirements may also apply.
Proof of English Language Proficiency: Brighton College accepts scores from a range of English tests. The minimum scores mostly accepted by programs are IELTS Academic 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46, Duolingo 95 or a comparable result in the case of CELPIP, CAEL, and Languages.
