In 2022, it formally changed its name to University of Galway. Business Postgraduate Merit Scholarship – for international students from JE Cairnes School of Business and economics. Upto 50% of course fee is awarded. Eligibility criteria is students should have achieved H1 or equivalent in the degree level. This scholarship is based strictly on high competitiveness. School of Medicine Scholarship – A reduction of €2000 in the first year of medical undergraduate study, this financial assistance is available to international students who are pursuing full time committed Bachelor’s of Medicine of Surgery and of Obstetrics only.
