Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship –university offers £2000 fee reduction in the first year for students enrolling in January 2025 or September 2025 intake from South Asia, South East Asia and Africa regions. Students can further avail £1000 discount on full payment of tuition fee at the time of admission. Student must commit for full-time bachelor’s or master’s program with full fee payment. University will assess the conditions and selected students will get automatic deduction from the fee. Great Scholarship –university offers a generous £10000 for specified countries including India, any Indian student who apply for one year postgraduate program (only Big Data Analytics MSc, Cyber Security MSc, IT MSc) for September 2025 intake. Entry Requirements at University of Derby
For Undergraduate Courses
- Applicants must pass the 12th standard from recognized state boards or CBSE, ICSE with minimum 65%. Few courses in engineering and science requires higher subject percentage or higher grades.
- For English Language Proficiency, applicants must have the following scores
- IELTS – 6.0 overall and 5.5 in each component
- TOEFL iBT – 80 is minimum score required
- Other tests like PTE and Duolingo are also accepted with specified scores requirements. Students who scored brilliantly at the school level in English subject may be considered without any English tests.
For Postgraduate Courses
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from recognized Indian university with 55%, few specialized courses in business, science and engineering requires higher GPA with higher subject percentage.
- For English Language Proficiency, applicants must have the following scores

- TOEFL iBT – 90 is minimum score required.
