Scholarships Offered by Douglas College
Douglas International Entrance Scholarship: New international students who meet the following criteria will be considered for awards of up to CAD 2,500: Candidates are required to have a good GPA of at least 3.5 in their prior studies and are required to apply before the beginning of the semester.
International Student Community Engagement Award: This is a C$1,000 award in recognition of leadership and involvement in campus life, volunteerism, or cultural events within campus.

Academic Excellence Award: Available for international students enrolled in an ongoing program with a minimum GPA of 3.75, this is a CAD 1,500 scholarship. It recognizes academic commitment over a minimum of two full-time semesters.
Need-Based Bursary for International Students: Students experiencing financial barriers can apply for a need-based bursary of up to $1,000. Based on financial conditions the institution has the right to decrease the price, and a financial declaration may be presented.

Entry Requirements at Douglas College
Undergraduate Academic Requirements: Candidates should possess a high school diploma with an overall average of at least 60% (or equivalent). Some programs may have further prerequisites, like math or science classes.
Postgraduate and Diploma Programs: Applicants to post-degree diplomas or advanced diplomas must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 65% GPA. Business, computing, and health students may need a higher average or relevant work experience.
