Chancellor’s Award

  1. Value: CAD $5,000 (first year only)
  2. Eligibility: High school average of 90% or higher, full-time status in year-one of an undergraduate degree.

President’s Award

  1. Value: CAD $2,500 (first year only)
  2. Eligibility: 85% – 89% high school average and available to full-time first year students only.

Dean’s Award

  1. Value: CAD $1,000 (first year only)
  2. Admission Average: 80.0%–84.9% high school average Allocation: Entrance Scholarship for New Students: High school average 80.0%–84.9%.

In-Course Scholarships

Entry Requirements at Algoma University

Academic Qualifications: Most undergraduate programs require admission directly from high school with an average of 70% or higher. Certain program (like Biology and Psychology) may have more requirements.

International Curriculum: BC Philippines School System IB, Cambridge or Pearson IB, Cambridge or Pearson students may gain direct entry based on achieving the minimum English and subject grades.
