The Acceptance rate

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) commonly accepts close to 40% to 44% of candidates. Hence, from 100 applicants, 40 to 44 students are admitted to the university. These are still fairly select rates, yet not extremely difficult by any means (for QUT standards) and consequently the school is extremely well known among understudies.

In fact the acceptance rate at QUT has been gradually increasing over the recent years as a result of more and more students registering across the university for its different programs. Acceptance rates vary by discipline — some disciplines might be able to find more acceptance and others, especially highly sought after disciplines, might be competitive.

The acceptance rate for international students normally falls somewhere between 40% and 44%, which means the competition is not so tough as with other Australian universities. Although, we strongly recommend applicants to comply with university’s academic requirements and to prove their proficiency in English for their successful admission.
