Acceptance Rate

Inclusive Admission Philosophy: Evergreen College follows a student-friendly admission system and attitude. It is a registered private career college and adopts an exclusionary admissions policy when it comes to education. Evergreen has a broader aperture here, looking at the applicant less academically by also considering their career goals and programmatic interest, albeit in concert with sets of lower bound expectations that regard higher education as also being about overall academic quality.

Estimated Acceptance Rate: The estimated acceptance rate is 30%. This figure is evidence that while it opens its doors to a vast number of students. Evergreen studies the applications it does receive with a great deal of care, looking to make sure that the program is the right fit for the student, and vice versa.

Admission Review Process: Applications are ranked based on prior study, dedication to the profession, and language experience. For an incoming international student, this could also involve additional documentation regarding English proficiency or a study permit review, so the process is comprehensive but not overwhelming.

Program-Specific Variations: While the acceptance rate is universal, some programs (health programs, technology) may have more specific requirements or tests directly administered by them. Some programs like Personal Support Worker or Cybersecurity, might also include an interview or offer a placement test.

Accessibility Over Competition: Evergreen’s main job is to prepare students for careers, and the outside world. That makes it particularly appealing to students who seek skill-based, job-focused education, but do not want the level of academic competition they might expect from traditional universities.
