The Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) is an internationally recognized university founded over 29 years ago in Bavaria, Germany. Language Requirements
English-Taught Program: Most courses delivered in English, require proof of your level of English at the B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR). These certificates are accepted:
- TOEFL: 72–94 points (internet-based), specific section requirements.
- IELTS: 5.5–6.5 points in every section.
- TOEIC: Listening (400–485 points) and Reading (385–450 points)
- PTE Academic: score equivalent to B2 level.
- German-Taught Program: DSH 2 or Test DaF 12 points minimum. Some Bachelor’s and master’s program require higher levels such as C1.
- Exceptions to obtaining proof of a German language skills: Als Ursprache Deutschsprachig (Aus Österreich, Liechtenstein, Süd Tirol, Schweiz odder Luxembourg).
- Abitur or an equivalent (German language qualification — German for foreigners — from a German school abroad)
- The degree programs are offered in German.
- Additional Language Notes: Language (A2 or higher) is mandatory for students in English-taught programs of studies at the end of studies. Various Courses such as German A2, B1 become part of the course.
- Certificates must be within the two years to be valid.
