Founded in 1951 and situated in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton University (CBU) is a public university with an educational experience that is enriched with a sense of place and purpose that represents the island that it calls home. Entrance Scholarships: CBU also offers up to $AUD 30,000 in academic entry scholarships. Students entering directly following high school who have received an average of 85% or better (approx. cut off).
Chancellor’s Scholarship: It is a big scholarship ranging from $14,000 to $30,000 and is awarded to new international undergraduate students. Candidates need to have leadership experience and a 90% mark or better.

Entry Requirements at Cape Breton University
Undergraduate Admissions: International: High school diploma with an average of 65% The goal of this program is to have the student`s ready for audition for year 1 or year 2 professional acting. Some of these programs will require a higher level of Math and Science (i.e., Nursing or Engineering).
