Chancellor’s Scholarship: It is a big scholarship ranging from $14,000 to $30,000 and is awarded to new international undergraduate students. Candidates need to have leadership experience and a 90% mark or better.

President’s Scholarship: $20,000.00 Open to high achieving students with an 85%+ average and solid extracurricular involvement.

Entry Requirements at Cape Breton University

Undergraduate Admissions: International: High school diploma with an average of 65% The goal of this program is to have the student`s ready for audition for year 1 or year 2 professional acting. Some of these programs will require a higher level of Math and Science (i.e., Nursing or Engineering).

English Language Proficiency: Applicants must show proficiency in English, as exam are conducted. Accepted is a band in the academic IELTS of 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.0, or an equivalent score in other recognized tests.

Postgraduate Admissions: Prospective graduate students who are interested in Post graduation must have received an undergraduate degree at the 70% level. Some programs also ask for you to submit work experience or even a statement of purpose to cover what you want to do with your studies and career.
