Scholarships Offered by Algonquin College
International Student Entrance Scholarship: Given to new international students of exceptional academic qualifications. Amount: The value ranges from CAD 1,000 to CAD 3,000 depending on academic record. There is no additional application, you will be automatically evaluated.
International Education Centre Merit Scholarship: Given to returning international students who have received a 3.6 or higher GPA in their last term. The scholarships are worth CAD 1,000 each. Applications are to be made by students via the IEC using their transcripts.

Scotiabank International Student Scholarship: Offered to international students that demonstrate financial need an award in the amount of CAD/USD 2,500 based on a minimum GPA of 3.0. When applying, candidates submit a personal statement and financial forms.
Entrance Bursary for Financial Need: This CAD 1,000 bursary is available to students who are experiencing financial need and of any program. Preference is given to 1st year and international students. An extensive financial statement form is needed.
AC Online Achievement Award: This award is available for online students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, and that have a 3.5 GPA or greater, and have completed at least one semester.
