The college was established in 1967 and serves the Durham Region. With campuses in Oshawa and Whitby and a learning site in Pickering, the college offers more than 145 full-time programs and thousands of part-time learning opportunities across a wide range of programs and disciplines and more than 13,600 full-time students and over 200 international students from more than 60 countries. Scholarships Offered by Durham College
Global Entrance Scholarship: Open to New Students (International) Fulltime. The scholarship is valued at CAD 1,000 (on entry). Eligibility the candidate should have good record in previous academics.
Regional Scholarships: These are offered to students in “restricted areas” such as Africa, India, and Southeast Asia. Awards vary in value from CAD 500 to CAD 2,000, based on merit and regional reciprocity.
