Study Abroad Scholarship: The scholarship offers financial grants and travel allowances through Lånekassen. They must also be enrolled in recognized study abroad program. This scholarship covers tuition fee for language courses during the exchange period of the recipient students.
Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen): It is applicable to Norwegian students and few international students who satisfy the eligibility criteria. For eligibility – international students must have permanent residency and has an agreement between home country and Lånekassen. The students must be full-time enrollees at the university. The recipient students under this grant receive tuition fee, travel allowances and living expenses.
ERASMUS+ Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students at the university participating in exchange program with partnered universities. The student must be full-time enrollee of the university. The amount differs according to duration of program and host country. However, it offers amount ranging between €410 – €460 per month. In addition, students opting for sustainability and eco-friendly transportation mode receive extra €50 as Green Scholarship.

Course-Specified Internships
Graphic Design Internships
- As a part of the program, internship is facilitated in third year and fifth semester. It carries 30 ECTS credits upon completion. Students get interned at marketing firms, media companies and design agencies. They get hands-on experience with assigned roles at the organization. Interns learn the strategies, marketing nuances. The assessment is fine through portfolio submission, work samples and a report.
- The interns gain industry relevant skills and exposure. They work on complex projects that develops critical problem-solving abilities.
Service Design Internships
- It is offered to students in 5th semester, the duration is maximum 25 weeks equivalent to a semester. It also provides 30 ECTS credits. Generally interns work for design agencies, consultancies and other related firms. The work involves real-time projects, design strategy and prototype development. At the end of the internship, students must submit a portfolio assessment.
- Students gains knowledge of service design, methods and techniques used in designing. They also learn various technicalities of prototyping. They get the opportunity to participate in design work with experts and professional teams.
Structure & Assessment of Internships
- The students who are assigned industry-specific internship get two personalized supervisors, one from the university and one from industrial unit. The industry supervisor looks after practical aspect, while university supervisor take care of theoretical aspect. Approach guidance and faculty visits are facilitated for student at the workplace.
- An intern must commit at least 480 hours for 15 weeks (8 hours for 4 days per week). Additionally, theoretical lectures and seminars are also conducted. Intern should prepare portfolio, self-study and assignments.
- After completion of internship, student must submit portfolio for assessment. It includes work samples, reflection report and confirmation letter from the employer. The portfolio assessment is done in two weeks with grading system of pass or fail. Students need to complete all requisites of internship for appearing in final exams.

English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL iBT – minimum overall score of 100 or IELTS – an overall score not less than 7.0.
Student Visa & Permit : All non-EU/EEA applicants must secure a residence permit before landing in Norway. They need to demonstrate financial stability by depositing 137,907 Norwegian krone per year. The application process may take up to two months time. EU/EEA applicants doesn’t require any student visa, but they must register themselves after landing in Norway.
