Harper Adams also has access to BACP registered counselors for students who have personal problems. These counselors help students work through study related stress, social anxieties and personal relationships, in a private session. The focus of the counselling service is short term support and on-going support through workshops on resilience and stress management.

Entry Requirements for International Students

Harper Adams University accepts students that have earned a Secondary School Leaving Certificate.

Academic Requirements

Undergraduate Programs: Most undergraduate degree programs require students to have prior knowledge equivalent to that of UK A levels or International Baccalaureate (IB).

Postgraduate Programs: Students normally need to have previously obtained education, at a recognized institution, equivalent to a UK honors degree, to be considered for postgraduate degrees

English Language Requirements

IELTS -The ordinary requirement is an overall score of 6.0 at a minimum, but individual module (listening, reading, writing or speaking) must not be less than 5.5.

TOEFL iBT -No section below 18 and minimum overall score of 80.

PTE Academic -To enter, you will need 51 in each component and 56 overall.

Accepted English Tests

In addition to IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE, Harper Adams may accept other internationally recognized English language tests, including Cambridge English: There are two Cambridge English language exams that we offer, the Cambridge Advanced (CAE) and the Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE). Students are encouraged to see that within which program they are going to attend, accept the test scores.

English Language  Pre-Sessional Programs
