1. Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships (CWIT)

3. Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships

It is through the sponsorship of the University of Cambridge through St. John’s College that the Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarship has been initiated. It is awarded to deserving students who have interests in doing doctorate in the faculties of economics, sciences, Information and communication technologies and social sciences.

Yet, priority is given to those students who are interested in applying for Aerospace Engineering and Energy courses. It is an academic scholarship that covers for tuition fees, air fare to and from the UK, a monthly stipend, and a visa fee to the UK.

This scholarship will be offered based on the following conditions:

  • The applicant should be a below 35 years of age.
  • Should have a minimum 2-years management related experience in an Indian company

As one of the oldest scholarships for Indian students since 1976, the Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarships offer an opportunity for students to complete full-time Masters, MPhil or a Doctorate degree in some of the best universities in the USA, UK and Europe. Capping at USD 100 000, the generous scholarship includes tuition fees, living costs, medical expenses, and one-way airfare.

The Foundation has partnership agreements with various universities including Imperial College, University of Royal College Art, University of King’s College London among others.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

  • Being an Indian passport holder, not being born before the 1st of January, 1994, and have a degree from a recognized university in India.
  • It is mandatory to have prior admission to the selected course and the respective institution.
  • The selection process undergoes three phases: it involves application scrutiny, online preliminary discussions and final face-to-face interviews.

3. Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships:
